Anything's Possible

A technical product. A very human story.

Origo can configure lending rules around almost any scenario. We turned that flexibility into a film about unusual homes, unusual circumstances and the technology built to handle them. Created from concept to final edit using an AI-enabled production process.

Client: MQube (Origo)

Role: Concept, Script, Storyboard, AI Production

Year: 2024

01 - Context

Making the invisible visible.

Origo's flexibility is one of its greatest strengths. It's also difficult to show.

Origo enables lenders to configure complex rules around different properties, circumstances and lending criteria. Powerful when you're using it, but difficult to communicate in a way that feels human.

We needed an idea that could turn that technical capability into something people would immediately understand.

02 - The idea

Rules are cold. Homes are warm.

So we looked for the people, properties and peculiarities hiding inside the data.

Thatched roofs. Flats above takeaways. Multiple kitchens. Barn conversions. Remote properties.

Instead of explaining what a configurable rules engine does, we showed the situations it needs to understand. Each became a small human story, using understated humour to make an otherwise technical proposition memorable.

That's really the conceptual leap.

03 - Idea to film

From idea to finished film.

One creative process, with AI working across every stage of production.

Concept

Finding the human stories hidden inside Origo's lending rules.

Script

Building each scenario around understated British humour and a simple recurring structure.

Storyboarding

Exploring scenes, characters, camera direction and narrative flow before committing to production.

Image + video generation

Creating the characters, properties, environments and footage through iterative AI generation.

Post-production

Bringing footage, voiceover, sound design, music, graphics and rule animations together into the finished film.

04 - Evidence

Building a believable world.

AI generated the ingredients. Creative direction made them belong together.

Across characters, environments, motion, graphics and sound, the challenge was consistency. Each element needed to feel part of the same film, while keeping Origo's product story present throughout.

Character + storytelling

Creating characters was only the starting point. They needed personality, warmth and enough consistency to carry the humour from one scenario to the next.

Rule graphics

The product stays part of the story. Origo's lending rules appear within each scenario, connecting the human moment back to the technology behind it.

Bringing it together

Generated footage was shaped through editing, pacing, sound, music and motion graphics to make separate scenes feel like one coherent film.

05 - Outcome

One film. A different way of making it.

Anything's Possible became both a product story and an experiment in production.

From concept and script through image generation, moving footage, voice, sound and final edit, AI became part of the creative process rather than simply a tool used at the end.

The result was a finished film that made a complex product easier to understand, while demonstrating how a small creative team can now take an ambitious idea much further.
